Satoshi Okuzumi / 奥住 聡

Hello! My name is Satoshi Okuzumi (奥住 聡) and I am an astrophysicist studying planet formation. I am currently an Associate Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Tokyo Institute of Technology (東工大地惑). 

Our research group, Okuzumi Lab @ Tokyo Tech, studies physical and astrophysical processes of planet formation. We seek to answer the following fundamental questions:

•  "How do planets and smaller bodies form from dust?"

•  "How do planet-forming disks around young stars evolve?"

•  "Is the Earth unique in the galaxy?"
